Kung Fu Tiger Pencil Holder Martial Arts Craft Project

Martial Arts Tiger Pencil Holder Kraft

Here a fun and easy martial arts craft to make from toilet paper rolls.  Kids will love to make them and put them on their desk to hold pencils, markers, and other supplies.  Perfect craft to make for martial arts parties.

Materials:
  • toilet paper roll or purchase a package of cardboard rollers
  • Kraftykid Kung Fu Template
  • scissors
  • glue
  • paper
  • a printer
  • felt
  • rubberband
Instructions:
  1. Print out the Kraftykid Kung Fu Template.
  2. Cut out the kung fu tiger and cut on the dotted line to make a rectangular piece of black paper.
  3. Cut the kung fu tiger in two pieces just above the black karate belt. Now the tiger will be in two pieces.
  4. Stand the toilet paper roller on the felt.
  5. Cut a circle about 1/4 inch bigger all around the bottom of the toilet paper holder.
  6. Put the felt circle on the bottom of the toilet paper roll and then put the rubber band around it to hold it into place.
  7. Glue the large rectangular piece of paper and cover the roll.
  8. Glue the bottom half of the tiger towards the bottom of the roll.
  9. Glue the top half of the tiger on the top of the roll with his head extending from the roll (about 1 – 2 inches).
  10. Add pencils, markers, and crayons and you’ve just made yourself a cool martial arts pencil holder craft.

Karate Monkey Paper Roll Craft (Printables)

Martial Arts Karate Monkey Toilet Paper Roll Craft Idea

This is an easy craft for kids to make at martial arts parties, sports parties, or special Friday night events for martial arts school owners. There are lots of variations to do with this craft. Kids can bring their own pictures and make mini-forms of themselves or you can print out our karate monkey and kung fu tiger animal templates.

Materials:
Instructions:
  1. Print out the Kraftykid karate monkey template.
  2. Cut out the karate monkey and cut on the dotted line to make a rectangular piece of white paper.
  3. Glue the large rectangular piece of paper and cover the roll.
  4. Cut the karate monkey in two pieces just above the black karate belt.  Now the monkey will be in two pieces.
  5. Glue the bottom half of the monkey towards the bottom of the roll with his legs doing a side kick.
  6. Glue the top half of the monkey on the top of the roll with his head extending from the roll for about 1 – 2 inches.
  7. Tie the ribbon around the middle (on the space between the top and bottom portions of your karate monkey).
  8. Make sure to ask how to tie a proper karate belt.  It’s a good thing to learn and know how to do!
