<ol>

<li>Cut out the eye holes.</li>
<li>From the bottom edge, cut a slit along the fold, then another slit angled in from the fold to make a beak.</li>
<li>Open out. Overlap the bottom edges A and B and staple, making the beak stand out from the face.</li>
<li>Fringe the three black rectangles with scissors for a feathery look.</li>
<li>Attach the strips to the bottom of the face with staples, tape, or glue.  Attach the bottom row first, then overlap other rows.  Trim edges to be even with the sides of the mask.</li>
<li>Cut the yellow square for the beak.  Fold and cut a curved piece from one edge.  Staple or tape the yellow beak to the white &#8220;under-beak,&#8221; placing curved sides down.</li>
<li>Draw two black circles on the beak.</li>
<li>Fringe the two white rectangles with scissors to give a feathery look and attach to the face above the eyes for eye ridges.</li>
<li>Wrap a self adhesive label around the outside and punch holes for ties and attach 12 inch pieces of elastic cord.</li>

Supplies:

Kraftykid pretty piggie face template
2 pink paper plates
Yarn
Glue
Scissors
Stapler

Instructions:

Print the Kraftykid pretty piggie face template.
Cut out template pieces and glue onto the front of the paper plate

<li>2 pink paper plates</li>
<li>Yarn</li>
<li>Glue</li>
<li>Scissors</li>
<li>Stapler</li>

<h5>Instructions:</h5>
<ol>
<li>Print the <a href="https://www.kraftykid.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/pretty-piggie-pieces.pdf">Kraftykid pretty piggie face template</a>.</li>
<li>Cut out template pieces and glue onto the front of the paper plate</li>
<li>Cut pieces of yarn and glue ends inside of the paper plate along the top edge.</li>
<li>Move long edges of the hair outside of paper plate.</li>
<li>Cut a small slit in the back of one of the paper plates (so coins can be inserted).</li>
<li>Place second paper plate on top of first paper plate with raised edges together.</li>
<li>Staple in place.</li>
<li>Decorate the front of the paper plate to make a pretty pig using glitter, feathers, ect.</li>
<li>Use as a bank by inserting coins in the back.</li>

<h5>Instructions:</h5>
<ol>
<li>Print the Kraftykid puppet templates.</li>
<li>Have children color the puppets.</li>
<li>Cut out the puppet pieces (bottom and top).</li>
<li>Glue the upper portion of the puppet’s face on the flap of the bag.</li>
<li>Glue the bottom portion of the puppet’s mouth (bill) just below the flap.</li>
<li>Give your puppet an award and cut and color the 4H first place award.  Glue onto the puppet with some ribbon.</li>
<li>Add feathers, if desired.</li>
<li>To make the puppet perform, slide your hand inside the bag.  Bend four fingers to fit in the folded flap.  By moving your fingers slightly, the puppet’s mouth moves and the puppet looks like it’s speaking.</li>
