Tell Mom Just Why You Love Her
Here’s a fun and easy craft! Make a mobile for Mother’s Day and share all the reasons that you love your Mom.
Supplies:
- Paper
- Mom Mobile Craft template
- Coloring crayons, paint, or other embellishments
- String, scissors, hole puncher
- Wire clothes hanger
Directions:
- Print the Mom Mobile Craft template.
- Color the hearts and mobile.
- Add reasons why you love your mom on the hearts.
- Cut out hearts and rectangle.
- Past rectangle to front of hanger.
- Punch a hole in the hearts and tie strings from hanger to the hearts.
- Display on Mother’s Day!
Best Mom Coupon Book or Checkbook Cover

Children love to create gifts! Here’s a template for a checkbook cover or coupon book. Works well with Mother’s Day Coupons craft.
Supplies:
Instructions – Checkbook Cover:
- Print out the Checkbook Cover template.
- Cut along the solid lines. You can also reduce this image for smaller checkbooks, or cut inside of the lines to fit the cover.
- Color the cover.
- Paste on bank checkbook and laminate. These also go well with the pocket size monthly calendars.

- Print out the Mom_Coupons template.
- Cut along the solid lines.
- Using 3 more sheets of paper, cut to fit inside of the checkbook cover.
- Staple the sheets inside of the cover.
- Color the cover.
- Create coupons for mom to use anytime of the year! Some ideas include:Free toilet bowl cleaning (I’d like this one), room cleaning, no fighting,day, Free quiet time, etc.

Very Cute - Handprint Craft

It’s Easy to Say I Love You with this Cute Gift Idea! Personalized with your child’s own handprint, this craft makes a great Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or Valentine’s keepsake gift.
Supplies:
- Red construction paper
- Scissors
- Bowl
- Fillers like candy…yum!
Instructions:
- Using red construction paper, trace your child’s hand.
- Cut out handprint.
- Glue onto bowl.
- Decorate with ribbons and markers.
- Add fillers such as paper, candy, etc.
Felt Heart Notebook

Instead of giving out paper cards this Valentine’s Day, surprise your friends with your creativity! This heart felt notebook is sure to bring a smile to their faces!
Supplies:
- 3 – Pieces of felt or fabric approximately 8×8”
- 1 – Spool of ribbon
- 3 – Pieces of 8×11” paper
- Glue
- Glitter glue
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
Instructions:
- Place one piece of felt on top of the other.
- Cut a heart shape out of both pieces of felt and out of the paper.
- Carefully cut 3 small holes in the felt, and punch 3 holes through the paper.
- Place all pieces together and tie with the ribbon.
- Using the remaining piece of felt, cut a smaller heart to use as an embellishment.
- Glue the heart onto the front of the notebook.
- Outline the small heart with glitter.
- Write a special message inside and give it to your best friend (or your MOM!)!

Old Fashioned Silhouttes

These easy to make silhoutte crafts make beautiful keepsake gifts for the family – especially for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Valentine’s Day gifts. They look very dramatic when cut out of black construction paper and framed.
Supplies:
- 1 – lamp
- 1 – piece of butcher paper or newspaper.
- Markers & a friend
Instructions:
- Lightly tape the paper on the wall.
- Point lamp towards paper.
- Have a friend stand in front of the lamp (or you may use an object)
- Trace the silhouette.
- Decorate w/markers!
Note: These look especially nice just traced on black construction paper and framed.

Instructions:
- Place hand in paint.
- Place hand on paper plate to make a handprint.
- Let dry.
- Write the poem below on the plate.
- Decorate.
- Give to mom.
