Materials:

• Kraftykid poinsettia template
• Yellow construction paper
• scissors
• glue
• hole punch

Instructions:

1.   Print the Kraftykid poinsettia template and cut out the pieces.

2.   Cut out the petal shapes and fold in half.Rub your finger along the paper petal crease so it’s a nice clean fold.

3.   Repeat this process until you have five petals.

4.    Print the yellow dots from the template.

5.   Assemble your flower by gluing the five petals in a circle and gluing the yellow dots in the center.

Make a Rainbow Painting with Sponges

This is such an easy craft and makes such a dramatic effect that it will look like magic to toddlers, and maybe you too!. This also makes a really easy face painting idea to put a rainbow on the cheek, ankle or wrist and you don’t even need to be artistic to do a great job. Just load up a sponge with the face paints in the color of the rainbow and drag. It’s really just that simple!

Supplies:

• kraftykid rainbow borders
• Sponge
• Variety of primary paint colors found in the rainbow (tempera or face paints)
• Scissors
• Glue
• Crayons or markers if desired

Instructions:

1. Print the kraftykid rainbow borders template.
2. Load the sponge up with paint in the colors of the rainbow (in rainbow color order if desired). See figure below and continue steps.

1. Press onto a piece of white paper and help your child drag and pull the sponge across the paper to create a rainbow effect in an arch pattern.
2. If using for face painting, simply drag the sponge across the desired area (cheek, wrist, arm, or ankle). Make sure to use special face paint.
3. Cut out the desired border and glue to the bottom of the paper. 

Have your child draw pictures using crayons or markers inside the painting if desired. 

Supplies:

• Scissors, tape, or glue
• Paint, crayons, or markers
• Raffia or Easter grass
• Kraftykid Spring Basket template

Instructions:

1. Print the Kraftykid Spring Basket template.
2. Cut out the basket and flowers and set aside.
3. Fold the basket along the fold lines and glue, staple or tape together.
4. Attach the handle together and fasten with glue, staple, or tape.
5. Decorate the basket with paint, crayons, or markers as desired.
6. Glue the flowers on the basket as desired.
7. Fill with raffia or grass and fill with jellybeans or other candy.

These paper poppies are really easy to make and are a fun patriotic craft to do for Memorial Day.

Supplies:

• red, yellow, and green construction paper
• black self-adhesive foam
• twig
• poppy-template

Instructions:

1. Print out the poppy template and cut four to five red poppy petals, two green leaves, and one yellow inner circle from the construction paper.
2. Cut two larger circles out of the self-adhesive foam.
3. Glue two poppy leaves on the twig by adding glue to the thin strip of the leaves and rolling around the twig.
4. Hold in place until firm and secure.
5. Remove the backing to the foam circle and arrange petals into place around the circle.
6. Press firmly in place.
7. Place the twig in the middle of the black circle and take the backing off of the 2nd piece of black foam.
8. Put on top of the twig and press down firmly to hold the twig in place.
9. Make several and put in a pretty vase.

Here’s a simple and easy paper flower craft project that will produce some pretty flowers to put in a vase.   Florists say that odd numbers make the best bouquets.  What do you think?

• Paper Flower Craft Template
• Glue
• Scissors

Instructions:

1. Color strips (color one of them green for the stem).
2. Color the circle (you can also add designs like swirls).
3. Cut out strips and circle.
4. Glue the end of the strips together to form petals.
5. Glue the petals to the back of the circle.
6. You can add two rows of petals if you want to. Add more or less to your liking.
