Magnets from Outer Space – Easy and Fun Craft Magnet Craft Project

Color, decorate, and laminate these cool magnets as you explore the mysteries of outerspace!

  2. Cut out the rockets and UFO.
  3. Color, paint, and embellish the outer space magnets.
  4. Paste the magnet to the back of the rocket or ufo..
  5. Laminate the outer space magnets (you can also do this before you put the magnet on).

Picture Magnet Craft

Picture Magnet Crafts Make Great Gifts

Supplies:
  • 1 – Old business card magnet
  • 1 – Picture of you
  • Scissors, glue, decorative items


Instructions:
  1. Glue the picture onto the magnet.
  2. Cut out the picture (so the magnet covers the back of the entire picture).
  3. Decorate with glitter or other items.

I Love You Picture Frame Magnet Craft

Instructions:

  1. Print the I Love You picture frame magnet template & color.
  2. Cut out the heart.
  3. Place a picture behind the space where the heart was.
  4. Secure picture with tape.
  5. Glue an old magnet to the back of the frame.
  6. Place on refrigerator.

Hockey Picture Magnet Craft

Picture Magnets Make Great Personalized Gifts

Parents and grandparents will be thrilled to display these on their refrigerators! To make the hockey puck template follow steps 1-4 below or download it for free from:

Hockey Puck Picture Magnet Craft template

Supplies:

  • 8×11” paper
  • 6×6” Black foam piece
  • 6×6” Brown foam piece
  • Picture
  • Tacky glue
  • 16 oz coffee cup
  • Small magnet
  • Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Bend the top of the coffee cup so that it makes an oval shape.
  2. Trace the oval shape onto a piece of paper.
  3. Move the coffee cup 2” down the paper and trace the bottom ½ of the oval shape. You now have 1 oval shape and 1 shape that looks like a smile.
  4. Finish making the puck by connecting the two shapes with two parallel lines. Start at one of the ends of the smile and draw a line to the side of the oval. Repeat on the other side.
  5. Using the template in steps 1-4, cut out the hockey puck shape out of the black foam.
  6. Using the oval from step 2 as a guide, cut the picture in the shape of an oval.
  7. Glue the picture to the top of the black foam hockey puck.
  8. To make the hockey sticks – draw two block letter L’s on the paper so that they cross in the middle forming a letter X.
  9. Using the template in step 8, cut the hockey sticks out of the brown foam.
  10. Glue the hockey sticks to the hockey puck.
  11. Glue the magnet to the back of the hockey puck.

  • Egg Templates
  • Coloring crayons, paint, or other embellishments.
  • Magnets
  • Laminate (Optional)
Instructions:
  1. Print out the Easter Egg Template.
  2. Cut out the eggs.
  3. Color, paint, and embellish the eggs (add a photo for a personal touch).
  4. Paste the magnet to the back of the egg.
  5. Laminate the egg (you can also do this before you put the magnet on).

Puffy Paint Candy Cane Magnet Craft

Shaving Cream Painted Candy Cane

Puffy Paint Shaving Cream Candy Cane Magnet Project

This is a neat craft made out of shaving cream and glue…It’s like mega puffy paint!

Note:  Adult super vision is required with this craft!  Please ensure child does not eat the shaving cream or put it in their eyes.

Supplies:
  • Red cardstock
  • Glue
  • Shaving cream
  • Green glitter


Instructions:
  1. Cut Candy Cane figure out of cardstock.
  2. Glue magnet to the back of the candy cane.
  3. Mix 1 part shaving cream with 1 part glue.
  4. Using a paint brush paint the candy cane with the glue and shaving cream mixture.
  5. Add green sprinkles.
  6. Let dry.
