Accordion Book Craft

Accordion Book – The Easy Way!

Just some paper and folding and you can create a fun accordion book that you can use as a memory book to record special events, like the first day of school, birthday parties, or other holidays.

Supplies:

• 1 – Piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper
• 1 – Piece of long ribbon or yarn
• 1 – Pen
• 1 – Glue stick
• Crayons, paint, glitter, or any decorations you want to use

Instructions:

1. Cut or fold paper horizontally.
2. Place the paper in front of you.
3. Fold in half.
4. Fold the top page in half by folding it back to meet the fold.
5. Turn the paper over and repeat on the other side until the accordion is made.
6. Create a title page on the front of the book.
7. Create the story on the inside of the book. You can also place pictures on the inside of the book if you want to display it.
8. Glue a ribbon to the back of the book.
9. Tie the ribbon around the book.
