Why not celebrate Valentine’s Day with a soft cuddly pillow to snuggle up to?  This cuddly craft is easy to do and makes a great gift for you or your friends.    It is also a perfect craft to make at a slumber party!

Click here for a printable version.

Supplies:

2 – Pieces of fleece or fabric approximately ¼ yard x ¼ yard
¼ - bag of Polyfill Fiber fill (pillow stuffing)
Scissors

Instructions:

  1. Place one piece of felt on top of the other.
  2. Cut a heart shape out of both pieces of felt.
  3. Using the scissors cut ¾ - 1” strips along the heart as shown.  The area of the heart that forms a “v” will have strips that are triangular instead of the rectangular (see figure below).
  4. Begin tying the heart using standard knots, leaving a gap at the bottom of the heart.
  5. Fill the heart with your pillow stuffing.
  6. Knot the remaining strips until the heart is sealed.
