Hug Jar

Supplies:
1 - Mason jar, baby food jar, or any type of see through container
2 - Pieces of paper
Candy, Cereal, rocks, or other small items
Crayons, markers, stickers, sequence, or other decorative items
Tape or glue
Scissors
 

Instructions:
1.  Place the small items into the jar (one for every hug he/she wants to give mom)
2.  Write the following verse on the paper: "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." - I  Corinthians 13:13
3.  Decorate the paper
4.  Glue around the jar
5.  Cut a circle the size of the jar's lid out of the other piece of paper
6.  Write "Hugs for mom when I'm not around" on the circle
7.  Glue the circle onto the lid
8. Decorate
