Fingerprint Bookmark

Supplies:

·         white cardstock paper (heavyweight),

·         construction paper

·         hole punch

·         paints, markers, yarn, hole punch

Directions:
1.  Print the poem (below) on white or light colored piece of cardstock paper (approx.3"x8" - bookmark size).
2.  Place fingerprints on the bookmark using paint.
3.  You can make pictures out of them using colored pens (i.e. a sun is made by drawing the rays around the print; a caterpillar is3 or 4 prints in a row, a butterfly is made by adding antennae and curved lines to print, a flower is made by drawing petals around print, etc).
4.  Glue bookmark to a slightly larger piece of colored construction paper.
5.  Punch a hole near the top
6.  Tie a ribbon or yarn through hole.
